C9@Glenholme 2011
Who we are.
C9 is a year 2 class at Glenholme School in Rotorua, New Zealand. We are all 5 or 6 years old, and we are proud to be Glenholme School students. Our teacher is Mrs Sue Caudwell, who has been teaching at our school for 12 years.
We are all going to try to do our best, learn, and make excellent progress in 2011.

Bimmi and Layla
This morning Bianca's Mum and Dad brought the rabbits in the cage. If Layla and Bimmi are angry they thump their back feet. They sniff for food. Bimmy was under the table because there was a gap. One was big and one was little. I really like patting them. By Stefanie.

A Visit From Bimmi and Layla

C9 were lucky to have a visit from Larissa, and her two beautiful rabbits, Bimmi and Layla. They are cross lop-eared rabbits. They hopped around the room, and sniffed us. Did you know that rabbits make their ears go straight up when they are worried, or listening carefully for danger?
Rabbits are herbivorous. That means they only eat food from plants, like grass, cereals, fruit, and vegetables.
Bimmi and Layla were very soft and cute.

Spy Meeting
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
Welcome back!
2011 is a very exciting year for lucky C9 children. During the holidays, lots of workers gave our classroom a total makeover. We have wonderful walls, comfortable carpet, lovely lino, and perfect paint. But the best of all, is the awesome air-conditioning. Not only will we be warm in winter, but we will be cool on those hot summer afternoons.
That means we can all perform at our best, and learn well, no matter what the weather.
